They head out the North Basin of Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba to set gill nets in search of whitefish and walleye. After a day setting nets the guys use the by-catch ciscos caught in the nets and head out to ice fish for big hungry northern pike.

Jay and friend, Josh McFadden, ice skate and e-bike across the lake and show off the advantages and excitement of fishing with this widely discussed technology. The angling duo eventually catch enough crappie to drop a few fillets in some hot oil and cook up a flavorful panfish recipe with a coconut twist.
