Challenge to build a crane that can quickly pick up an item and transport it across a area for it to be placed in a designated area. The teams receive various points from 10-50 depending on how difficult the item is to loft and carry. The items must be completely off the ground when being moved. There are 2 15 minute rounds. Challenge in this episode each team has to build a "tunneller". Then the machines will be tested in a drilling competition. Each team will have to drill a 2 foot hole through 2 concrete walls 3 feet thick each. The 1st wall is a medium concrete. The 2nd tougher wall is a harder concrete reinforced with aggregate. After both holes are drilled all team members must pass through the tunnel to escape. The team which passed through their tunnel and crosses the finish line first wins and will advance to the next round.
